Fiber Is the Foundation
Fiber is one of the most studied nutrients in modern health, yet most people still fall short. Here's what the data shows:
90%+
of adults fall short of the recommended daily fiber intake.1
75%
of adults with constipation improved in clinical trials using psyllium.2
23%
lower risk of early death associated with higher fiber intake.3
7%
reduction in LDL (“bad”) cholesterol shown with psyllium fiber.4
Statistics are based on published research evaluating dietary fiber and psyllium supplementation in clinical and population studies. Individual results may vary.
1 Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2020–2025. 2 Randomized clinical trials evaluating psyllium for constipation and digestive regularity. 3 Meta-analyses examining associations between higher dietary fiber intake and reduced all-cause mortality risk. 4 Anderson JW et al., research on psyllium and LDL cholesterol reduction.
